The Weight of Words.

When I face insults, I usually say, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words cannot hurt me.” It’s my way of toughening up. But truth be told, it’s not that simple. Saying I’m in this boat alone makes me wonder if others feel the same. Maybe we all do. Perhaps we need to be more mindful of the words we choose.
